5 gal for both

I use the Amsoil AGM product code which is 5 gallons for two drives as Kidapache indicates. Also run it in my drive couplers.

Interesting .......this can be done? more info please...

I too would be curious oto hear of potential hp gains. I am though concerned about the negative of damaging a seal and as the drive cools while in the water it fills with seawater. I hear that can be real expensive since there is a limited amount of oil in the drive there is plenty of room for water.

It has been done. Randy @ Marine Drives has done 3s,4s,& 5s. Not much difference if you can complete a dry sump conversion on 6s. I can get some pricing and Hp gains.
The 6s gain about 75-85 hp cant see why the same doesn't hold up for the 5s.
I will talk to Randy later this weekend and post back some pricing. Just have to remember that dry sump quotes dont include repairs- gears, bearings, shafts cant tell until there disassembled if all parts make the cut. :drink:
