I worked as a graphic artist for 27 years and I know I'm not color blind and I surely know the difference between green and blue! The high performance gear lube is blue!! Either way that's the good stuff!!

Is the Sierra HP Gear lube the same thing as Merc? A place here in town has it for $10.63 Qt.

I thought i heard one time that Sierra is just rebranded Merc stuff, as Merc is only sold at dealers. Not sure if this is true or not. If not i will keep looking.

Quicksilver is Mercury oil. Its under a different name so they can sell it to other suppliers that are not merc dealers. They can only sell Mercury oils to mercury dealers by contract. So they just market it under Quicksilver.
