I would swap the sides the pickups are on. The ear of the prop is travelling downward on the side the pick up is on. It should be on the "upward" swing side. It is probably pumping air down instead of pushing water up. I've run into it before.

Good point I will swap props and do the test again. Then look at switching the pickups to the other side of the cavitation drive.

Just swap the drives !!!!! and u don't need to drill holes and they will still turn outward after u swap the props as well.

I said that earlier.

Daredevil,
The reason he swapped the drives in the first place was because of gear wear. It was determined that the cost to replace was too high and in order to go boating a swap from side to side would get more life out of the gears.. and not tax the wallet at this time.

Pickups are absolutely on the wrong side. They need to have the prop pushing towards them, not away.
