I got a factory Mercruiser sterndrive (trs) manual from ebay. Try ebay or google it.
Oh yeah a TRS will not "slip" since it is a direct drive..If there is a slip condtion most likely the trans.

If your having a slipping problem it's either a tranny problem or a spun prop hub if you are running rubber hub props.The TRS drive either turns or it don't.I have the Mercury TRS Service Manual #5 and it does not cover the transmissions.You need to know if you have the Merc Trans ll or the Borg-Warner Velvet Drive trans for the correct manual.
