i have a single engine pantera 24'. i'm new to the velvet trans and it's rotation. i've broke a few RH trs drives with the old motor. now i went with less motor and can only find LH drives. outside of having to change props how well will a LH drive work with my set up? how well will this boat handel in a single engine app? i've been told the rotation changes in the velvet as for how the boat will handel with a LH drive i have no idea. anyone done this swap? how does the boat handel?

Rotation is in the drive. You must run the transmission in forward.
I doubt if you will notice a differance in handling.
The RH drive is more common, you should be able to find one. We have a rebuilt in stock (just in case

I swapped a few of these over the years for customers and they all worked fine. No difference in handling and a little bit stronger drive. I did one a few years back to a Konrad and that was the best of all.

The LH drives are a little stronger. My boat is similar to yours, and I run a LH TRS. Some have claimed a slight top end increase also. Konrad looks to be the ultimate if you have the $$$
