800-900rpms in neutral is fine. Anything above 1000rpms is too high and you'll start having problems with the cone clutch. My last 2 boats before the AT idled around 900rpms in neutral and dropped to about 750rpms in gear. Never had any problems with either drive.

Correct,,,, never shift a Bravo above 1000 rpms's.
Its a balance though,,,, depending on power,,, you cant idle to low either or you will chance reversion
you should be fine where you are
