Default Bravo idle speed

Can anyone tell me the maximum safe idle rpm for a bravo1. Will they operate properly @ 8-900 rpm? Thanks R. M.

No that is to high, 645 rpm would be the max i would go to be honest Anything over 700 would be pushing the limit.

800-900rpms in neutral is fine. Anything above 1000rpms is too high and you'll start having problems with the cone clutch. My last 2 boats before the AT idled around 900rpms in neutral and dropped to about 750rpms in gear. Never had any problems with either drive.

Correct,,,, never shift a Bravo above 1000 rpms's.

Its a balance though,,,, depending on power,,, you cant idle to low either or you will chance reversion

you should be fine where you are
