Default Bravo 1 Oil Pump Adapter

I ordered a hand pump the other day to use the threaded adapter to put on my sprayer. When I went to make sure it was the correct size I noticed that the adapter doesn't line up 90 degrees to the hole because of what I'm assuming is the thrust hub? I'm looking at the service manual and I can't tell what it is. How is this removed? All I want to do is screw the adapter in the hole and fill the drive. If need I can shoot some pics.

thanx

Tap it lightly with a hammer and that washer will come off. It is tapered so its a tight fit.

That is correct, it is on a taper and should have some grease on it.. If you use a screw driver to gently pry it off, it should pop right off. Use a piece of wood or something to protect the paint on the edge of the bullet.
Then you will clear access to the drain hole.
