I'm installing a set of 1.44 upper gears in a SSM 3A and i'm looking to set the install height of the driven gear. I have a couple qustions as i do not have the shimming tool. Does anyone have the diameter of the tool at the measurement point for the 1.44 gear set and what is the feeler gauge measurement?

Still looking for info on the install height for a 1.44 ratio upper gear set on the SSM 3A. The merc manual covers the 1.5 & 1.4, was there a supliment for the 1.44?
