Drain is on the lower port side near the front. Inside the boat is the reservoir with the dipstick on the transom. Drive holds 3 quarts and the reservoir 1. I always let mine drain overnite. Then I put the plug back in and remove the top cover on the drive. Dump in 3 qts. and put the cover back on. Then fill the reservoir to full on dipstick. Quick ,easy and no mess.

I know the manual will tell you to pump it in from the bottom but that is slow and makes a big mess. I wouldn't recommend doing it this way on other drives but I know it works well on a TRS. It's the only way I ever do it.

Make sure you have a LARGE screwdriver. You will likely have to go and get one that is big enough. DO NOT try it with a small screwdriver. Once you strip out that drain plug you are in a world of hurt. I don't lift off the top cover like Pick does, I just take off the drain plugs and fill from the bottom and once a little comes out the top plug I put that top plug in and then pump a few more into the resovoir and then top it off from the inside.
