What weight is your spec Gear lube?
I have been running the Mobil 1 75w-90 with a half quart of the Lucas treatment in each.
If there is better i will go with it.
My lower gears had the surface polish and Cryo done and they have been doing well. Its the vertical shafts snapping at the bearing sleeve shoulder.
The uppers are lasting forever.

Its a 75-90.
You need to put the new style shaft and race to match.
