Heard it is good stuff. They have been in racing for many years. We are putting some in a Bravo 1 tonight. We will run it for 20 hours and see how it looks and let you know.

Default What weight Amsoil?

I'm going to switch to Amsoil Severe Gear in my Bravo I. I can get it at the parts store down the road and I think it's a better oil than Merc HiPo. What weight should I use? I think some of you guys are using 75-110. I've got 3 qts of 75-90 left over from the diffs on my truck, wondering if I should use that?

The 75w-90 will work great! The 75w-110, which is a relatively new product, will just give you a bit more protection.

Bringing this thread back up to the top

Will the Amsoil 75w-110 work for my SSM IIIA? And anybody know how many quarts these things take?

Boats new to me and want to change fluid, as someone already said, oils cheap drives aren't!

Thnx
