Default bw tranny

put new clutches and seals in bw tranny today saw alittle ware on the forward clutches but nothin broken hope it works better! the reason for replacing clutches and seals was that when i would try to get on plane it would come out of gear at about 2000rpm other than that it worked fine it went forward and reverse no prob although ive only owned the boat fro 2yrs the prop would always turn i was told that was sign of loose clutch or worn clutch,my fluid didnt smell burnt and it looked pretty good, so i hope like hell that what i did to it today will fix it! im not an transmisin expert but it was pretty damn simple doing the procedure. anybody ever done this before? i would like to hear some uplifting stories i just thought i would see more damage

Did you replace the clutches with the 5 bronze discs or did you replace with graphite discs? My tranny builder uses 7 graphite discs. Will be doing mine over the winter, same problem as you. Started at 4600rpm now does it at 3000rpm.
