Anyone know:

the actual weight difference between a NXT, #6, M8?

Length difference? (Transom to propshaft)

Input shaft to propshaft dimension on the NXT?

I have a dimension sheet on the #6 but have never found anything on the NXT or M8.

Yes I know this thread is almost 11yrs old

Anyone have the dimensional drawing on the #6 Drive regarding the (X) dimension?

24' Eliminator is the boat is Question

It was rigged with a #6 / 1.30 Gear
1" above the bottom
Big Block Turbo about 1,200 HP
Porpoises pretty bad in the 40-mph range
Day 2 of testing with a 4-blade transom picked up and kicked over a tad about 90 mph

Feel free to banter and the end of the day myself & some friends are trying to help
where the cards have already been laid.

What we are told at this point is
Bad gear choice / again card that was delt
Told (x) should be 4" above the bottom not 1"
Told that a single #6 will never work on a cat?

Not real excited about Bravo or IMCO options, respect to all of them
Just inviting more maintenance for the individual is not the plan.

(I / we) do not have much insight on the NXT's
But I'm told they like to run (in) the water, rather than surface?
It's built stronger than the (bravo) type drives in my humble opinion

As far as bolting right on in its current Height 1" above the bottom
Thoughts on.. Is it a better drive for single engine Cat?
Will it help & clean up any of the current challenges already listed with the #6?
