Default Torn between Fountain and Baja

I have a 1998 29' Fountain 700 hp with a Imco Extreme Advantage and 2' shortie out drive and a 1998 27' Baja Boss with 509 m3 procharger 750 hp and a Mr Gadgets built XR drive. Both have about 30 hrs on them. What is the best choice as a keeper? Iam only keeping 1 boat...

I have had both Fountains and Bajas too. I currently have a Fountain. It would really depend on what you want in the boat (cabin/cockpit space, top speed, etc.). I would lean towards the Fountain though if it were me.

Well this is easy... Keep the one you like the most!

That said, I'd keep the Fountain with the IMCO drive on it.

The choice is more difficult than i thought it would be. One is carb and the other is inj, The baja has a anchor locker with steps up to the bow. But the fountain rides and handles better. I think the choice will be clear after a weekend on both.

Keep the Fountain, the 27 is a great boat. Long term I'm sure you will be glad you did.

I'd prolly lean towards the fountain. I've always liked the looks of the 29.

If you are reasonably happy with either one, then I would put them both up for sale and hope that one of them sells.
