When I did my IMCO neutral boxes, I cut the tiller arms off close to the notch just to be safe. As for the block off plate, it does need to be trimmed. The belt sander is the best was as already mentioned.

You must have electronic senders for a trim gauge? These must be the additional wires.

I was able to use the stock water neck. I just flipped it so it points down. As for the trim ram lines, I did not have to extend them. Formula must have used the same lines on all boats, boxes or not. That was a big help.
