Default Out drive storage / towing

Is it bad to have your out drive trimmed all the way up while on a 2 hour tow? How about storing it during the winter times, better trimmed up or down? Does it even matter at all?

Thanks for the info!

Towing no problem, but store it down. Way better for the bellows and not bad to drain the water out of it.
