I thought BMax was done? Wern't they another beefed up Bravo casing still using Bravo gears anyway? Imco SC's are the same deal, JUNK Bravo gears. Saving my pennies up for the SCX's. Seem to be the easiest swap from a Bravo. Change the gimble bell and bolt on the upper with much bigger gears. They can also use the SC lowers without much loss in speed. I was hoping to pick up some used SCX's but so far I don't see any popping up. Guess no ones broken any yet?

Bmax is far from a Bravo.

ARNESON 7M you just have to cut the transom hole alittle bigger and their faster than any bravo or equivelant drive

My question was wether or not BMax went under or not? Is the 7M the one that doesnt need a trans?

All Arnesons need transmissions, that is partly why they don't break. The trans is in an extension box.

SCX, helmet change on the gimbal.. 500hrs behind 825hp, 36' Apache, Vortec chargers. Lower gears started to flake. Upper gears are still in great shape. He runs it hard...

I second that. And the Bravo conversion comes with everything excluding prop, and you'll be trouble free. The upgraded bravos has their issues too.
