I use a different mix, but I mix then pump. That way it is fully in solution at the correct ratio. Then just pump what volume you need.

The Lucas additive is ABSOLUTELY NOT needed! If AMSOIL wanted their gearlube to perform with excessive drag on the gears they would make it that way to start. The Lucas will cause a condition called fluid friction which in turn will increase the drive temps. The AMSOIL Severe Gear is ALL you need, period.
