I'm running a triangular alpha coupler behind a built small block. Haven't had any trouble yet.

Oh BTW, I know the bravo coupler works with an alpha Gen 2 era bellhousing because I snapped off the tips off the alpha coupler with about 400hp and went to the bravo coupler.
