Red face DUMB ? does the B1 take a perimeter gasket?

Buddy just picked up a kit, it is o rings only( know where they go). but i could have sworn that it also got a perimeter gasket as well( goes between the drive, drive hemet). Thanks

The alpha takes a gasket. Bravo doesn't. Crazy! I siliconed the perimeter.

I put a little RTV on the round one at the drive oil passage, they tend to leak there, not sure I would do the whole thing as it may keep the o-rings from sealing.

Just use a little grease on the o-rings to keep them in place and help them seal.

yep orings and the drive seals on the end of the rubber ujoint bellow..take a look at the end of the bellow,,you will see a indentation from the drive..

If in doubt, just wrap one layer of Gorilla Tape around it once installed.

Thanks guys, we put it on. I am aware of the alpha ones getting them, even scoped out a the bravo's ones on the fountain, sure enough no gasket, thats strange, I have NEVER paid any attention to it.

i just puy one on yesterday,merc sais to use a little bellows adhesive on the o rings,that,s how i do it and it works.
