Default out drive paint ?

want to sand down this winter and re=paint bravo 1 drives any recommendation on some real durable paint that can hold up to and corrosion ?

I use Mercury phantom black engine paint, seems to work good and is made for the marine environment and is resistant to gas and oil.

automotive acrylic enamel with hardener or polyurethane enamel. I used the enamel and polyurethane hardener additive in the Spring and it still looks like black glass.

If you sand down to bare medal do you need to prime first and if so what kind of primer? Or is it best to just sand down the corrosion and scuff up the paint so that the new paint will stick easier?
