I used one of the Jabsco oil draining pumps that is mounted on a 5gal. pail, that is used for "sucking" oil out of a marine pan with either a long tube or attached to a stock Mercury dip stick tube.
I used the suction side of the pump to suck fluid from my fill container and the "pressure" port to fill the drive. I made a cone shaped adaptor to wedge into the bottom fill port of the drive, filled the drive until the fluid came out the upper side port, put the top plug back in and continued to fill until there was just the right amt. in the interior overflow bottle. You can fill the drive in a fraction of the time with no air pockets this way. I sold my boat and have the whole system for sale. Let me know if you are interested, I can send pictures.

Hey Dan, if money is tight maybe you can use your penis pump?
I personally use a jabsco drill pump. Cordless drill, one end of hose into bucket of lube, other end clamped to the fill fitting that screws into the drive. Takes about a minute to fill the drive with 2.5 gallons or so. I keep the drilling going somewhat slow so I don't blow $hit out. I also use this nifty little pump to suck the engine oil from the oil pan. Not as nice as those jabsco 150 dollar units, but cheap.
