Hello, I have a dumb question that I'm sure somebody here can answer as I am rather new to boating.

I am slowly putting together a Cigarette Mistress which has the starboard engine and transmission missing.

The question relates to the transmission and the TRS outdrive (presently on the boat). I know the engine will be standard rotation, but what about the Velvet Drive transmission? Is the transmission also standard rotation and the RH drive is reverse? Or is the Transmission reverse rotation as well?

trans are both the same, there are standard and counter drives.

and there are a lot of TRS style VD's coming and going on ebay and craigslist...

i have 2 pair of trs drives an ginbles $4,000
