3 wire plugs in to smartcraft, and the ecm limits trim to a percentage. A 2 wire plugs directly inline with the blue wire from the trim switch and opens at the set level.

If I jump inline on the blue wire, that will do the trick. What about trailering, how do I raise the drive beyond the limit to ensure the engine doesn't hit the ground or is that necessary once the limit is set?

At the switch at the helm use the wire from the trailer up for you’re ‘up.’

better words: make your ‘up’ wire the actual trailer up wire.

I believe it’s the purple / white wire.

Remember, regular up is blue/white and down is green/white.
