Default imco sc has delay before going into gear

imco sc upper and lower. the drive takes about 1 to 1.5 seconds to actually go into gear when the shift handle is pushed fwd. when going into reverse its almost instant going into gear. Should i be worried???

We had a same issue last weekend and that was just a little adjustment to the shift cable at the shift plate some how it was a little off .

And believe it or not it was on the HTM of my friend !
