In the Throttle = Wide Fuken Open? Is there any other way?
The cryo will help (kind of). Unless you drop a tooth. Change the lube often. This isnt an oil thread thread but I never had luck with Amsoil Severe Gear or Royal Purple. I had less failures on Merc Hi Perf. Now, I am running NEO.

I had 605HP motors on my 11,500lb 1994 Cigarette Top Gun. That does not include 220 gallons of gas, people, ice chest, anchors, etc. I did not have any problems with them for 7 years. My bravo dirves was the old style with a 1 inch prop shaft. I had 5 blade Maximus props. The drives got hot and left a chalky residue, even running 3200rpms. I purchase Halo Max drives showers and it went away. I recommend getting them. Be easy on the throttle and you should be fine. If it is not broke, don't fix it......trust me. If you mess with it, it will cost you some major $$$$ and headaches.

So you are dropping in two 600+ hp engines so that you can go out and drive like a little old lady? It's not just holeshots that take out drives. If you get much air then you will break them. No one is perfect on the throttles. My Bravo 1X lasted 7 hours behind a 525, in a 22' boat. I get a lot of air. The XR has lasted over 3 seasons. I still get a lot of air.....
