Im wondering if a Rem polish on the gear might bring back some of the loss.

Those are standard SCX , those and the -4,s also have very thick skags .definitely a better shape .

I have a pair of SCx-4,s in the classified,s if anyone is interested . I have 1 and 2 inch spacers available for sale also .

I ve been looking for a nice low hour pair of SCXs, don treally need the -4s but I will check them out.

What kinds power you putting thru them? How much speed loss did you see and since they are -2 did you porp shaft height change?

Right at 750 hp. I have Stellings and I installed 1" spacer to lower a little.
I might have lost 2 to 3 but Top End is Not my pursuit. ALL summer NO issues IS.

Totally satisfied. Well except for the Hinge pins screws--- Note to Self- Check tq regularly!!!!.
