Imco SCX new lower?

Last I hear IMCO tested and the lower is only good for cosmetic. It is NOT faster then the blunt nose SCX lower. The gears are still larger creating a wider lower with more drag. Still worth it over breaking drives!

No B/S here. My boat I lost maybe 2mph. I'm NA 500efi at 7500 msl . went from 55mph to 53 mph. GPS. Running the same prop. So if they are loosing that much mph sounds suspicious. Post 7 of that thread sounds like the drive they have didn't come direct from IMCO and maybe the ratio is off. I don't know. I'm just saying at my speeds it was barely noticeable. And I will take that loss for no broken drive.
