Default Alpha drives

Just bought a donzi 29z w/ twin 454s and alpha drives. But will these drives hold up? If not can i beef them up. Thanx

There is not much you can do to beef up an alpha, triple widgets has some parts but for what that costs its cheaper to do bravo conversions. Holeshots and airtime are hard on the drive. Your most reliable bet is to be nice to it while you shop for some used bravos and gimbles. The conversion is easy and if your patient you can find some good deals. The conversion will also help resale value.
