Default Drive coupler

What is the absolute best drive coupler for a 1000 hp engine package.

Go to a driveline set up and eliminate the rubber and steel couplers all together. Other than that I dont much difference in the others.

Thanks for your suggestion it makes total sense to eliminate the rubber. Can you suggest a reliable product.
Does income extreme use a rubber drive coupler?

I have Merc set up but im sure Imco makes them and Stellings also used to make a kit.

I am running a bravo xr just hoping to baby it through one season the boat is a fountain 29

There was a recent post about a torque limiting coupler.
I agree with Griff on the coupler. Although I am using a short steel coupler on my boat and have not had any problems yet.
The weak point will be, the XR behind it.

That much power to an xr you should stay with a fresh steel snout merc coupler. The rubber will absorb some stress on the drive.
