I'm a dealer for SEI, give me a call/pm and I'll see what I can do.

A lot of their parts come from the Asian markets but are assembled here in America.

They also do a lot of testing on a lake that is owned by them as well. SEI has put a hurt on Mercruiser OEM dealers and Mercruiser for selling new drives as Merc retail pricing on the Alpha has been almost cut in half just to compete currently.. Also Merc tried to sue them (SEI) as well years ago but lost or the case was thrown out of court.
That's what happens when you screw people like merc does on a continual basis....

I just bought a set of sei 15/19 gears to try out, they appear to have been "ran in" some to mate the faces up a little, they still however have a very rough surface and may not run in on the patterned surface so I am going to send them out and have them cryo/iso remmed as the stock merc gears have a egg shell finish and these are even rougher to the point I would be concerned a little under higher hp, fwiw, Smitty
