did not mention that untill you get to the reinstall, go figure.

Okay, so I'm trying to figure out which part number I need while waiting for the removal tool. Merc part 41646a7 matches my transom # but 41646a9 appears the same but says with gear lube. Are they referring to the oil bottle in the engine bay?

Well at least the lack of responses leaves me feeling like less of an idiot.

so this is what I have found, the only # on the bellhousing is 41646c1
which one do I order 41646a7, or 41646a9 with oiler?
I can deal with nuts and bolts, but wtf, how you figure this chit out!

Did you ever figure this out I have the same part # I can't find anything please help
