Question on 1988 Bravo One Transom Assembly
I have two complete Bravo One outdrives and transom assemblies. One is a 1988 with no fluid reservoir and the other is a 1991 or newer with the fluid reservoir. I am installing one of these in my 1991 Formula 242 SS.
The 1988 unit and especially the transom assembly look absolutely great, almost new.
The 1991 or newer looks rough cosmetically.
Is there any difference in the two transom assemblies? Is the 1988 unit able to be fitted with the fluid reservoir? Is anything interchangeable or not interchangeable between the two?
I appreciate any info I can get.

Thanks. It would appear that the inner transom plate on the 88 model does not have the oil reservoir fitting in it.
Does anyone know if that fitting can be added to the 88 transom plate?

It looks like the inner transom plate just has to have a hole machined in it for the hose fitting coming out of the gimbal housing to pass through. Is that correct?
Does that mean the 88 gimbal housing will not have the boss in it for the oil fitting to install into?
