Default Bravo upper gears

Anyone had any luck separating the upper gears from the cone clutch after a high rpm shift?

I did on a set that was stuck in the bottom gear set....just took the keepers and the top gear off and put it in a press and pressed down on the clutch shaft...it popped and came right apart, but the shoulder on the clutch shaft where it mates with the bottom of the gear and that same area on the bottom gear were galled up and would most likely stick again, so they weren't reused.

What I did was put the separator plate under the raised portion of the bottom of the gear ( just to keep it off of the thrust bearing surface of the gear) and pressed on the top end of the clutch shaft.
