I would be interested in a pair if you could figure out the reverse rotation, have no desire to have reverse rotation engine,
|
sorry
i had a total brainfart on post 80. trs reverses rotation in the lower with gear on carrier instead of in nose. alpha 1 gen 2 reverses rotation in lower by simply running in reverse but the carrier is shorter. |
Hello SlowRyd. I pm you yesterday. I want to shorten my
Bravo lower and I wanted to talk to you about Getting a deep enough weld. And cutting down the vertical shaft. I want to run my drive on surface. Taken out 4" to do so. |

Konrad 540. Much stronger upper and very similar to the Bravo lower
|
SlowRyd, what is the dimension you are looking for from the input shaft C/L to the prop shaft C/L?
|
Yea, that's an awesome effort, but considering I still blew a TRS upper after about 150 hours with 600hp (lowers only lasted 60-80), whereas my Konrad went 430 hours before the lower went (and I'm guessing that's cause I only changed the gear oil twice in 7 years). For me, anything over 550hp will never be in front of a bravo, TRS, or any combo of the two - just no damn fun.
Stay under that 550 or so and this is a great way to get more speed out of a TRS setup, for sure. |
It sounds great ,would be alot easier than raising motor and drive on my 23 Daytona no room,,in my 4 inches below bottom, how would a 5 blade cleaver work on a stock trs? 330 Hp,soon to have more. Nice job Ryd

ever figure out how to get it to work with twins?
|
Only option is a cam change to reverse the engine
