I want to send used Driven oil samples off to a friend of mine who does oil analysis after getting sometime on the oils. The problem with me is our lake levels in the past have been poor to get even anytime on the oil.

I actually know Lake Speed Jr. who is Driven oil specialist. He is extremely educated about oils and IMO has shot me straight about his products. I spent alot time with him in person with Bravo gears (used and pitted) as he explained alot of things going on and told me all about Nascar gear issues and other issues.

He does not nor has ever pushed his products comparing them to other products nor has put down other products. He is a firm believer in additive balance per oil blending. He also is a firm believer that too much over based additives including Zinc and phos can be a bad thing. Additives can over power other additives inwhich can make for a poor oil. Just saying. I have been using Driven motor oil for the past 3 years on stuff over 400 hp. I also use VR1 and for the rec boat apps Mystik. Like I said most of our stuff around here does not even get 50 hours on it. 50 hours is like 2 to 4 years of boating around here anymore.

If you have any questions I would call Driven and ask for Lake Speed Jr. They also have a ton of educational videos online some are very informative. I know I have posted a few before up here.

This is a friend of mine who does oil analysis. Scroll down and you can learn what he does in the video. I have not done anything as of late but in the past have done alot of oil analysis with him. Virgin and used samples of many marine oils and other sample oils. He can even tell you all about it as well.
