Yes, it does. This is why I bought it. Use to slide the bar in and try to decide what needs to move where. Installing this, tells me which way to move the mount. It works better then anything else I've used.

Merc stuff was an old link. This new Mercruiser coupler tool came out in 2007 / 2008 that AD posted a pic of and myself was talking about. FWIW. The link for Merc Stuff was just showing how that older tool is set up per apps.

I had a machine shop make one for me. That is how I figured out that my rear engine mounts had sagged. The tool doesn't fit the helmet properly if things are not perfect.
