Ok, this is driving me crazy. Mercrusier has so many coupler part numbers. I have no idea what to get. Here is what I am thinking. 8M0098797 steel no snout $832
8M0098798 just know it fits up to 600hp. snout? $562 Any help would be appreciated..........John |

I called mercruiser today and David said that the 8M0098798 fits the same engine that Crowley marine shows. Is it now said that we should only use aluminum couplers in performance applications?
