Put the new one in backwards so your life is easier next time!!!

now that I said that I see it's an alpha - I don't know if you can put them in backwards like the bravos

Ayuh,.... Gimbel bearin's are symmetrical, no differences no matter which way it goes in,......

worst case is -- pull engine and knock out from inside out. and fix all the water leaks hence why the GB is stuck.
