XR to SCX, quick question...

|
No
|
Thanks 👍 |
SCX uppers are -2" compared to a standard Mercury Bravo1/X/XR upper....FYI
|
Thats what I asked, so my prop will be 2' higher when switching from XR to SCX keeping the same sportmaster lower? |
I am pretty sure uppers are the same. The SCX lower is 2" shortie I believe.
You will also have to do bigger reservoirs for drive fluid. |
Standard SCX upper is the same height just set back a hair more .
|
SCX uppers are -2", call IMCO if you don't believe me. I did the conversion this summer.
Yes your propshaft will be 2" higher with a standard lower. |
I'm 99.9 percent sure you are incorrect. It may be the scx lowers that are all -2 but a scx upper with standard length sc lower will be the exact t same as an xr or imco sc

Yes your propshaft will be 2" higher with a standard lower. the scx4 upper is 2" shorter the scx is regular. All the scx lowers are -2. that's what's makes the scx4 -4 you think imco is going to make scx -2 then boats with already aggressive x dimensions have no option to run the scx drives? No |
