Default XR to SCX, quick question...

is there a difference in higth when switching from XR to SCX upper? Keeping the sportmaster lower....

SCX uppers are -2" compared to a standard Mercury Bravo1/X/XR upper....FYI

Thats what I asked, so my prop will be 2' higher when switching from XR to SCX keeping the same sportmaster lower?

I am pretty sure uppers are the same. The SCX lower is 2" shortie I believe.

You will also have to do bigger reservoirs for drive fluid.

Standard SCX upper is the same height just set back a hair more .

SCX uppers are -2", call IMCO if you don't believe me. I did the conversion this summer.
Yes your propshaft will be 2" higher with a standard lower.

I'm 99.9 percent sure you are incorrect. It may be the scx lowers that are all -2 but a scx upper with standard length sc lower will be the exact t same as an xr or imco sc

you did the conversion and you think you're 2" higher but your not lol

the scx4 upper is 2" shorter the scx is regular. All the scx lowers are -2. that's what's makes the scx4 -4

you think imco is going to make scx -2 then boats with already aggressive x dimensions have no option to run the scx drives? No
