Reverse is acheaved by a band locking down on the clutch drum bringing it to a stop which at that time a planetary causes the output shaft to reverse it's rotation. The piston that locks the reverse band down on the drum is on top of trans. Basically everything to do with reverse is on top of the trans. I have a manual that has all the info on this trans I can send you. Just give me an email address to send it to. JIM

You got pm picklenjim
we found the problem.😊
the pushrod had come loose and wasnt in the right place, so when we removed the top gearchanger
we couldnt figure out what the spring and arm was supposed to do. But now we know.
just need the manual so we can assembly and adjust the reverseband.
thank you for your kindness!

Electrical.
im not shure if you can call it a pushrod.
Its the piece pushing down the reverse band
above the adjustment screw.
not the "arm" on the gearchanginghosing
the piece under that.
im swedish so my english could be better especially in the technical terms
.
but i hope you understand what i mean.
