Had an unplanned encouter with mother earth and totalled both of my SSM3As. They were sitting in a 357 SR-1 Formula with 12” extension boxes, but now they are in bits and pieces in the southern Finnish archipelago. Anyway, Konrad still offers a bolt on 540 (or something like that) version to replace old ssm3s, and I would be grateful of any comments and experiences people may have had with them. Pricing seems very reasonable and I’d love to go with something that would not require transom work and would be from this millenium. All comments highly appreciated...

They have an ssm also, loses the twin vertical shaft though. Buddy of mine had them on a top gun, he didn’t have any trouble but the new owner ran the boat real hard and wrecked one or both.
if it’s of any interest I have a pair of low hour 3’s I’d sell for 6k
