Last summit rebuilt a BX 3 drive. When we installed, we noticed a vibration. We ran the boat for about 10 hours- the vibration didn’t get any worse but before we made one more trip for the season, we put our old B1 on and the vibration was no longer present. Fast forward to this week... I took the drive shaft out of the BX3 and chucked it in my lathe. Best I can tell, the caps on the bearing cross’ are about .015”-.018” out. Any idea how to get this shaft trued back up?
