Default Bravo prop shaft drag.

Just removed 1" spacers from my drives and now the lowers have some drag when you turn the prop shaft by hand.one has noticeably more drag then the other.do u have to re set anything like pre load when spacers are removed?I do not want to run it like this tis only going to create heat.drives only have 10hrs since going through. Thanks!

It shouldn’t change.

Did you replace the o ring in the spacer ( the piece around the vertical shaft that the o ring rides in)with something that might be thicker than stock, did you use any sealer in the groove?

The only thing that would make it turn harder was if the spacer was being pushed down more, it mates against the bottom of the upper, or the spacer that you just removed , either way, they’re both flat.

Didn’t change that Collar just cleaned the Groove the o- ring sits in and just a little grease. Checked all surfaces made sure they where clean and bolted lower back up.new o- rings from merc.

Drop the lower, remove the coupler, bolt it back up and see how it feels, you should have 5-8 inch pounds of rolling resistance at the propshaft
