full SCX with DDS plan on loosing some speed, some have reported 10 + mph

Wow I thought the old scx lowers killed speed didn't realize the dds did so what lower do you suggest?

If I change my current setup Im going to run the SCX upper with my SC lowers, this will probably still hurt some speed but Im not all about that anyway

It seems with around 800ish hp the XR/sport master lowers are pretty reliable.

guess it depends on boat size/weight. I think the general consensus on these boards is anything over 600-650 is pushing it for xr’s.

it’s not the lower, it’s the upper 9 times out of 10.

to the OP: if you have the financial means and plan to keep the boat a long time; I’d go for the imco.
