Default Bravo xr ITS sportmaster rigging?

Hi, going from standard bravo 1 drive/transom assembly (4.7" propshaft height) to a bravo xr -2" sportmaster with ITS transom assembly. Question is how much i can go up with the sportmaster and the 8" setback the its gives? My old engine made +500hp and really liked how it perfomed, easy planning, plenty of bow lift at cruising speeds untill 60mph when it started to porpoise with all the props i have tested
, many 4 blades and hydro p5x. New combination is going to be approx 650hp/ with the xr sportmaster ITS. 26ft, 24dg straight v-hull, 5500lbs.

Test fitted and measured, propshaft 2.7" below the bottom. Have read that for every inch of setback you can go 1/8" up, ITS gives 7" setback. I only have 1/2" spacer to try.

First water test maybe at the end of this week. I have dilemma should i try without spacer first, prop shaft 2,7” below. Or should go with 1/2” or 1” spacer, i have both.

Bravo style props don't like to be surfaced. They will sling blades if they are.

Thats what i have heard too. They say the sportmasters works better being high, and cause transom lift being too deep. I really think the stock lower case would be better for my combo, but you newer know. My quess is 75mph if i am lucky.
