i’ve seen the 7 m kit to retrofit a bravo one drive, but what’s involved in replacing the whole drive, i get you’d have to alter the transom, but isn’t putting a non conversion unit cheaper? whats involved? can it be done with used parts more reasonably?

to install an 8 drive the engine needs to go forward about 18 inches the 7 kit puts the transmission inside the extension box so the engines stay in stock location
