Default Verdict on DJ Marine Audio

I am looking for feedback on the DJ Marine audio speakers and amps from those who have purchased and installed on their boat. Have seen the posts about being knockoffs, off label, and even a few stories about possible misrepresentation and being sold as Memphis Audio. More interested in how did you like the sound.

Not expecting them to sound like JL or Focal but am looking for a budget minded clear sounding system that I can actually hear while cruising at 3500rpm. So.....who has bought DJ Marine and what do you think of them??

Thanks,
Rick

Looks like a Memphis knockoff, and quite honestly, Memphis is junk.

I understand a budget, but just remember if you buy something and try to cut corners or cheap out, you'll end up buying more later. Do it right the first time.

my buddy installed 4 10s, 2 amps on the subs, 2 amps on the mids/highs, 4 8" mids/highs and 4 6.5" all dj marine in a 38 special and the thing rocks! I was really surprised at how great it all sounded for such a reasonable amount of money. without even tuning it all the way it was more than you could talk over if you even wanted to. the subs are installed free air in the rear bench

Bringing this back up top.

Any updates, feedback or otherwise on the dj marine line?
Considering doing a stereo over the winter or spring and looking for something that sounds great but doesn't have the jl/wetsound price.
