On my Mercruiser wiring harness, underneath my PCM, was a plugged off wiring harness end. It had a tag on it that said, Fuel Paddle. I looked on the internet for any information and it brought up smartcraft. Does this wiring harness give out engine information even if I don't have smartcraft?

The GPS that I'm interested in buying has engine input through NMEA2000 or NMEA 0183 cable.
Would I hook it into this fuel paddle or is there another place on the wiring harness I need to hook into to have engine information readout on the GPS?
